He always looks nervous. Less so than he used to, definitely, but there is nothing Whitaker’s growing professional confidence can do for his face. He just looks like someone who is about to faint dead away with anxiety at all times, eyes huge and hair waving timidly over his pale forehead. Summary
In the two years since his mate died, Jack's been working to heal and move on. Please note that this fic will deal with Jack's healing from an abusive relationship with his deceased mate. There are no flashbacks, but Jack does reflect on what happened and shares some of it with Dennis in dialogue.
