Summary
Set in 1941 right after the church was destroyed.
The bomb had just exploded over the church that contained both Aziraphale and Crowley . . . Aziraphale realized that he had always loved Crowley . . . Crowley, you see, did in fact love his angel. He had loved him for the longest of times and to Crowley, him saving the books was just natural.

Did he even want to know the answer? It was probably as obvious as it seemed, as Eddie rose an eyebrow at him.
“Kill you? Oh, Stevie, I would never.” Eddie dropped to one knee by Steve’s side. His head leaned down, so close to Steve’s ear that he could feel his hot breath ticking against his hair. “I like my meals hot.”

Aziraphale saw the fear in his wide pupils. "You'll Fall," he whispered, like the words sucked the wind out of his lungs.
Aziraphale's lips curled up slightly in a smile, eyes flickering upon the details of Crowley's face. Every deep line, the sharp curve of his nose, the pout of his mouth, his sunshine eyes that gave away so much of what he guarded. The most beautiful creature Aziraphale had the pleasure of knowing.
"Do you remember what I said, when I finally let you talk me into drinking?" He asked, soft as the feathers of his wings. Crowley shook his head minutely.
"What will one drink hurt?" Crowley let out a choked laugh. "And that one drink became..."
He paused mid-sentence, a revelation.
It remained unspoken, yet somehow, it was as if they'd screamed it to the Heavens themselves.
Crowley is a virgin. Aziraphale, drunk on emotion and a lovely wine, asks to do the honors.
