Not that Tim didn’t cherish every scrap of affection he could get, especially from the big brother who had given him his first hug, but it wasn’t just Dick. There was Jason, too. Half the time Tim was tugged into Dick’s arms, Jason followed suit, not as unwillingly as he liked to pretend.
Half the time, Tim flinched.

Despite his usual loathing, he has to admit that this one has been… interesting.
The cause of this new intrigue has a name, a face, and is currently circling the gala’s edges, being introduced to its attendants. Tim watches Jason with poorly disguised interest, even though his parents’ determined schmoozing is keeping him from slipping to investigate the new Robin more closely.
