She explains to Sakura that when you love someone romantically, you go out of your way to make one another happy, and protect each other. She tells her romance is about grand gestures.

    “Like giving flowers?” Sakura asks as she twirls the pink camellia between her thumb and forefinger. Ino blushes.

    “Yes, like giving flowers,” she answers. Sakura is pouting in a thought. “Not just flowers, though,” Ino continues, “the most romantic thing to give someone is a kiss.”
