Enjolras (unsurprisingly) doesn't believe in the idea of 'soulmates'. He hates the concept and will most likely (he does) shout about it at protests. (Of course he does)
Being more than insistent upon absolutely not meeting his soulmate, ever, Enjolras easily finds a way to avoid his so-called 'one and only'.
This is until a sarcastic, cynical, extremely hungover man that is just on the edge of not quite pulling off the, 'I'm really gross right now, but I'm pulling it off somehow' look crushes all of Enjolras' attempts at avoidance with a couple of words.
