Sabo threw words into the air, desperately trying to lighten an atmosphere that weighed like lead.

    Everyone was talking. No one was listening.

    In the eye of the storm, Luffy felt himself fading. He grew smaller, invisible, sinking into a space where his silence was swallowed by everyone else’s volume. No one noticed he was drowning right there at the surface.

    Then, Garp’s voice cut through the chaos like a blade:
    "If you could just behave like a normal child, Luffy... maybe Dragon wouldn't have left."

    The silence that followed wasn't peaceful; it was devastating.
    Sometimes the world doesn't break from blows or thunder.
    Sometimes, it shatters into pieces right at the dinner table, between the rice and the regrets.
