He knew his daughter far more intimately than he knew himself, his devotion to bringing about the resurrection of the Fell Dragon his only devotion.
"Hello, Father."
But the snarl that accompanied the words, the way the question delved into a roughness those of humanity could not possess; Validar knew he was not talking to his daughter.
"You're-" he coughed on blood that should not occupy his trembling lungs.
"This is not how it happened." The Fell Dragon's hand smudged the blood across Validar's lips. "Lucina is such a clever little girl."
Robin is the Hierophant of the Grimleal, the future Vessel of Grima, the Fell Dragon. Her life has never been her own. The amnesiac she found in a desert seems to disagree.

Shen Yuan transmigrates during the previous generation of Cang Qiong, and despite being totally mediocre (or so he thinks) he ends up becoming the Head Disciple of Qing Jing Peak. Shen Yuan decides to try and live his life to the best of his ability, avoid the scum villain when he makes his inevitable appearance, and grow stronger so he can stay alive long enough to be able to see his favourite protagonist in the flesh - and then escape so he's not killed when Luo Binghe takes over the world.
But, of course, the plot has got to plot, and nothing ever goes according to plan.
