“Who may you be? Another Iron Man fan, huh?” The boy says with a slight accent while his eyes flick from Peter’s to the mask on top of his head and back.
“Only the real and best Iron Man fans may join my secret club.” He suddenly declares and Peter starts to slightly shrink back down from the intensity of it all.
He knows it isn’t very brave, or very superhero-esque, but he can’t help it. Peter doesn’t talk much with other kids his age as is, and this kid is an enigma.
“Are you the real deal?” the kid ponders for a moment, finger tapping his chin before diving into his pocket. “Of course you are, welcome!”

“Hey Spider-Man!” Flash yelled down the hall at Peter. “Do a flip!”
Peter looked at Ned who looked at MJ who raised an eyebrow. They seemed to reach some sort of agreement because Peter turned, shouted, “Okay!” back down the hallway and executed a perfect back flip.
Literally no one noticed.
Not a single person looked up from their phones or their stupid conversations or whatever they had going on.
Flash was going to cry.

Tony processes all that a moment.
“Tony?” she asks.
“You’re at the food bank? How much do I pay you?”
She gives another little huff. “Charity, Tony. Did any of the actually important things I just said register in your brain?”
“Oh, all right. Consider it my charity work for today.”

He doesn't expect all of this to change when he discovers a super-powered teenage boy in the basement of a HYDRA camp in rural Poland, but it could be a lot worse.

“You didn’t get my coffee,” his dad says, halfway through his burrito. He has been in a state of low, simmering irritation all evening, and apparently this is how long it took for him to find a reason to blame Peter for it.
“You didn’t tell me to get coffee.”
“Do you have eyes?”
“Yes,” Peter says. “I have eyes.”
“So you could have checked if we needed coffee without me telling you every little thing, Jesus Christ.”

"Aren't you a bit young for an x-rated magazine?" Tony raised an eyebrow, flicking through some of the pages with attentive eyes.
Peter had two options: option one, tell Tony that he stole the magazine off his mothers boyfriend-of-the-week in an attempt to teach himself how to read because his dead-beat mother never bothered. Or option two.
“Wanna see the rest of my collection?” Peter smirked. Tony raised an eyebrow.
“Reputation doesn’t lie then, does it, Mr Parker?”
