I don't think anyone would ever say that Macklin Celebrini is a scientist, but he does remember learning the scientific method.
Observation: Mack and Will's friendship is...different.
Question: At what point will Will Smith perceive Macklin Celebrini's behavior as weird?
Hypothesis: A definitive line exists and can be experimentally identified.

Procedure: Increase the intensity of platonic behavior until the subject indicates the boundary has been crossed.

Those are just some of the many pleas that have come out of Will’s mouth in the past few weeks.
Well, more like have been developed and fantasized about inside of Macklin Celebrini’s head.
Or: Mack has been having some extremely horny thoughts about his best friend Will, and of course Will ends up finding out about it and the outcome surprises them both!
