"As in getting married?"

"No no no no no. I can't marry you!" Ruby began pacing again this time even more panicked.
Weiss rolled her eyes then strode towards her and grabbed her by her shoulders. "You will marry me. If you still want a job in publication that is."

Summary
Getting the internship at her top choice of law firms in Boston is a dream come true for Emma, and the fact that Regina Mills is the owner of said firm is a huge added bonus. The woman is an incredible lawyer, a force to be reckoned with, and Emma admires her to no end. But admiring Regina Mills from a distance is a hell of a lot different than actually meeting her and the more time she spends with the older woman, the more she realizes that other kinds of feelings are starting to grow within her.
Becoming a lawyer may be a goal she has been fighting for for so long, to be able to help others get the justice that she never did, but trauma is a powerful thing. No matter how badly she wants to help, it might not be enough when the demon from her past holds more power over her than she thought and she’s struggling to not let it ruin her chance to actually help the girl that reminds her so much of herself.

When Anacostia first lays eyes on Necro Cadet Ramshorn, her only thought is, That girl has the smile of someone who died long ago.
“You’re going to have to have a better attitude than that during Basic, Cadet Ramshorn,” Anacostia warns her. “If you want to learn to be better, that is.”
Ramshorn doesn’t respond, just looks back up at her; eyes tracing up and down and lingering on her Scourge before traveling back to her face. For a moment, just a half of a millisecond, Ramshorn’s eyes flash with something that looks startlingly similar to hatred, burning and electric blue, like she’d very much like to sing Seed twenty-three and watch the flesh slowly melt from Anacostia’s bones. Like she’d enjoy it, were she able to.
Then the moment passes, and Ramshorn’s eyes are clear once more. As if it’d all been Anacostia’s imagination.

In Kara's opinion, there is no greater way to unwind after a long day than to rest your head on your wife’s lap and feel the gentle carding of her fingers through your hair. She can only be thankful that she found Lena now, at five and twenty, when most don't find love in an entire lifetime.
She has lost a lot, but she has finally found her fortune.
“Kara,” Lena says, her voice a tender murmur that Kara is inclined to believe is saved only for her. “My Kara.”
Kara lets it wash over her, a gift to grace her ears and birth butterflies in her stomach. She lifts her cheek from its content spot on Lena’s thigh, covered only by the sheer fabric of her nightgown. It is one of many sewn for Lena after their betrothal, and definitely Kara’s favorite. She accepts Lena’s probing fingers into her mouth, letting them roam and press as they please.
