He walks up to them with something molten sitting in his core that feels an awful lot like anger. It doesn't help that at just that second Jungkook reaches out and squeezes Jihoon’s bicep and then makes a perfect circle with his mouth in surprise and possibly something else.
“You have to be close.” Jungkook is saying just as Mingyu reaches them.
“Maybe, we’ll see,” Jihoon replies with his face bright red as he sees Mingyu. Jihoon gets red easily, he has the skin of a porcelain doll or a vampire love interest in one of those novels Mingyu’s sister likes. Jihoon’s face turns red when he laughs too hard sometimes. (Mingyu loves this fact. Enjoys that Jihoon’s enjoyment can be so visibly seen.) It’s just that this isn’t a “laughed too hard” red or a “danced too long” or even a “slept on one side too long” red, this is a blush.

What is fun is learning things from Yoongi hyung. Yoongi hyung who has forgotten more about music than jungkook knows. Yoongi hyung who saw potential in him and lets him sit in the studio. Yoongi hyung who listens to Jungkook’s ideas and has helped him get producer credits.

Yoongi is forced to buy his court side season tickets as part of a "lovers package" and puts Jungkook's name down for the other ticket. There's no way that can go wrong.

That made Rozanov laugh. “It is good idea,” he said. Stopped laughing. Started again. Blew out a breath like he had to get himself together. “I might do this to you,” he allowed, “but you have nice boyfriend living with you now. I would not do this to him. You are safe.”

Summary
No serious hockey fan or sports commentator worth their salt would have considered record-breaking Boston superstar Ilya Rozanov to be Shane Hollander’s rival exactly, but sleeping with a man who had a specific offense-related vendetta against him and a wrist shot like a jet engine to back it up was probably ill-advised just the same.
Or, Shane is a goalie. Ilya can’t score.
