The Jily fics and other harry potter fans views of snape disgust me. I wrote this fanfiction after seeing versions of Snape portrayed as an incel, or as someone who bowed to Lily in everything, which I felt completely misunderstood his character. In my view, Lily was first and foremost his best friend starting from childhood, and she was the only bright spot in his life. Snape possessed immense pride as a teenager, even calling himself the Half-Blood Prince, and his love was simply not stronger than his pride at that time. It makes no sense that he would stay outside all night groveling to apologize to her, which is why, after Lily told him to leave, he never contacted her again. If you really want to argue who exhibited toxic traits, it was James Potter, who bullied Snape simply because he was friends with Lily. Furthermore, it is debatable if Snape even knew Death Eaters were actively murdering people at that point, which you can blame on either the wizarding world's poor newspaper reporting or J.K. Rowling’s lazy worldbuilding. Ultimately, in his youth, Snape's fatal flaws were his hatred, pride, and thirst for power, as well as a vulnerability to anyone who showed him kindness, and he spent the rest of his life paying

"But we could not possibly predict to what realm it will return to! The magic empowering dimensional travel is old, and not fully understood by any of us! I would not wish to doom someone to have to deal with these vile things!" Brightness Dragon Lord cries out.
"Would you rather we be slaughtered like Platinum Dragon Lord, then? We have no better plans available. We will do as we must to preserve the balance. We have let these 'players' do what they wish far too much." Deep Darkness Dragon Lord finishes, drawing himself up to his full height.Ainz Ooal Gown gets banished to another realm, and it just so happens to be MHA, what a strange coincidence.
