Choi Jongho became King at the young age of 18. For five years, he worked tirelessly to lead his kingdom and learn how his place in the hierarchy worked. Times were peaceful but there were still issues that would arise. One of which was his lack of a Queen. Upon the constant demands of his council, Jongho finally made his choice. Having never met the Princess, Jongho didn't know what to expect. But he knew it was a necessary step to take for his success as a good and benevolent King.
Surrounded by those he trusted most, Jongho tries his best to navigate the treacherous turmoil that soon follows the arrival of his new Queen. Perhaps things are not what they seemed.

Summary
After escaping an abusive compound, Yeosang has sworn to never trust anyone ever again. He’s alone, and he prefers it that way. He’s already made it through the end of one winter and, with the arrival of spring, he thinks he has a good shot at surviving for a while. His rules keep him alive, especially the most important — no communication with anyone, not even to save their life.
Then he sees a cute, chubby-cheeked man with a gummy smile and big muscles fall beneath a horde of zombies and he can’t help but break his rules. Saving Jongho’s life was a mistake he can’t bring himself to regret, not even when it leads to him breaking all of his rules just to see that smile once more.
On his own he can survive, but with them…with them he learns to live again.
