Summary
Within Hogwarts, a change has occurred. No one within its walls or outside them knows yet, and no one within its change ever will. With shifting timelines and a new thread woven into the tapestry of the story, something new appears. Not something bad, though many see a change as bad. No, not anything so sad, but something beautiful. A new story, spun from an old, beginning in the middle. When you open this story, and begin to read, you might be confused. Just a tad, at an unfamiliar timeline, just similar enough.
You might think, where’s Harry, Ron, Hermione?
They’re here. Have patience. Those that you know are within these pages, though not as you know. Such is the way those within a story shift with the narrative.
This narrative brings with it a curse.
This narrative brings a blessing.
Both lasting and long.
It taints the magic of two children, whose paths will not cross until fifth year, when all is just beginning to crumble.
Only later will Two meet, and for now we will follow the story as it begins, with One.
One who is just starting to accept that cracks can be fixed.

Summary
In which two men have been as knightly profiles pressed into the few coins they earn. Sword and shield. Shield and sword. Aster takes the hits. Erin deals the blow. They fight in sync.
But progression will only allow one of them. Erin has only ever been ambitious. And Aster has always been too devoted for his own good.
He will always take the blow.
He is not surprised to find the arrow protruding from his chest. He is not surprised when Erin forces it deeper.

Summary
There was a moment of silence, Hiroaki staring at Takeshi from the counter, Takeshi staring back at him from the stool at the other side of the kitchen.
After a moment- “I love you.”
Hiroaki couldn’t breathe for a moment- and then laughed, despite himself, flushed crimson and somehow in a multicolored, prismatic sort of awe at the sheer simplicity of it.
“Don’t laugh, Nakamigawa,” Takeshi complained. He shook his head.
“Sorry, I just- love you. That’s- that’s the most Takeshi way you could have done this. Right to the point.”
OR
In which the show is over. The game has been over for nearly two years, now. Time goes on. Eventually, the orbit has to break, because one of them was always going to get tired of their dance. Hiroaki and Ojima have been spinning in circles around each other, both knowing how they felt, neither saying anything.
Until someone does. And then the world is purple, and their dance shifts.

He stumbles out, heaving in breaths as he takes in the scene, brain working furiously to compensate for the terror thrumming in his veins and the pounding of his head.
