Summary
Normally, Blazer wouldn’t even consider dropping someone—criminal or not—from this high up. This man was just a common crook, part of a gang, but had no superpowers to speak of. He wasn’t a threat, and normally that meant she wouldn’t even consider trying to actually seriously hurt him.
But this wasn’t a ‘normal’ situation.
“Usually, I’d agree,” she loosened her grip, pulling one finger off his ankle. “But your group didn’t just take some random technician. You took someone important to me, and that changes things.” Another finger, her grip on him weakening. “And right now? I don’t care what I need to do to get them back, safe and sound. So, you can tell me where you took them, and I’ll take you back down unharmed. Or I let go. I can find someone else who might be more willing to cooperate.”
