Summary
Junior Year at Arusia State University and Lance McClain has three goals;
1. Make the Hockey Team and hopefully get promoted to captain
2. Find friends who don't make him get black-out drunk on wednesday afternoons
3. Pick a major he doesn't hate
His plans take a sideways turn when Keith Kogane, ex-trouble maker and D1 hopeful, transfers mid-season from Garrison University after one-too-many verbal warnings.
While Lance and Keith try and find the balance between rivals and teammates, Lance realizes his undeclared major and cancelled flight home may give him more trouble than he bargained for over winter break.

“I’m not cut out for this shit,” Lance admits, hardly able to face Keith as he says it. He passes the bottle back.
Keith stares at the glass, at where Lance’s lips just were, and is unable to bring it to his own. It feels too intimate. He frowns, sorting through things in his mind. “…For parties?”
Lance looks at him like he’s being purposefully dense. “For Voltron.” He rolls a hand out toward the sky. “For— for being out here in space.”

“I’m only stranded here because I followed you!” Lance shouted, and that was the crux of it, wasn’t it? At the centre of it all, Keith’s thumping, beating heart, bleeding out by design. Keith’s lips twisted into a sneer.
“Then maybe you shouldn’t have.”
If Lance tried to kiss him because he meant it, he should’ve known better. Caring for Keith was a battle, and he was going to get tired of fighting it. Keith would rather have nothing, than have something good and watch it leave him behind.
