"Is- Is it yours?" Will can't help but ask.
"No clue," Mike brings a hand up and traces his fingers over the dried blood, hisses when he gets close to his hairline.
Will moves like on autopilot. He crosses the small bathroom in what feels like a split second, and grabs onto Mike's wrist.
"Don't," he blurts. Pulls his hand away like he got zapped with electricity. "D- Don't.. touch it. Need to clean it."
"Right. Yeah," Mike mutters. His face does something weird, but it's gone as quickly as it comes. "Can.. Can you do it for me?"

Summary
The summer before college, Mike and Will move into a tiny studio together, ready to start their next chapter — only to discover their across-the-street neighbor has a very public, very active sex life. Their weekly “observations for research purposes” are all jokes and commentary…until one night the neighbor brings home a man, and something in Mike shifts. "Are you guys dating?" Dustin blurts out. Mike and Will's heads snap to him, shared panicked expressions on their faces.
"Um, I—we, uh—"
"Why—why do you think that?" Will chokes out.
"Well, let's look at the evidence," Lucas holds up his hand and points to a finger when he says each Thing. "You kiss each other all the time, Will's been sitting on your lap every single time we hang out—"
"Wh—I—It's not every time." Mike argues weakly.
"We heard you call Will 'baby'," Will squeaks and avoids eye contact when Mike looks over at him. "And now you guys are going to sleep together. In the same bed. And you say it's normal."
"You gotta see it from our perspective, dude." Dustin adds once Lucas puts his hand down. Mike opens and closes his mouth a few times, looking like a fucking fish out of water. He kinda feels like one, too. Beside him, Will isn't much better. His face is fully red now, and he's just standing there, mouth open, like he'd just been busted for a crime.
