Egri’s hand found her face and brought her closer, not as gentle as Sovieshu and Alan would. Rashta’s brows furrowed. She had trusted him so many times and she had come to him so many times but she would frown and scurry when he came close. Perhaps he was filthier than he thought.
“Your wedding gown…” Egri started and Rashta nodded attentively. Her dark pupils dilated with his words. “Don’t wear a pure white.” A beg. His thumb brushed her soft cheeks. They could hear each other's breaths too closely. “Please, don’t wear pure white.” You don’t deserve to. Don’t dirty a pure color. His voice sounded weak from his state.
“Why?” She breathed.

A mission came up and she used the opportunity, she preferred running away rather than facing her fears, leaving Asta with a bitter taste in his mouth. He hadn’t even noticed she wasn’t there anymore. Asta feels guilty, but he doesn’t know what to do. She’s far away, and everyone refuses to give him information. Their first encounter was a disaster, but it brought some answers.
