Summary
After a chance encounter a year before Solas’s ritual, Rook did not imagine meeting her dance partner again, let alone him becoming a valuable member of her team. Now she must navigate saving the world and the excited feeling she gets anytime her Crow companion looks at her.
Lucanis thought he finally went crazy as he stared at her -at the woman he thought about every waking hour he could between his escape plans. Lucanis also thought he could never fail a job. Now he must figure out his toughest contract yet, under the command of the most beautiful woman he has ever seen while sharing his body with a demon she can apparently hear too.

Summary
Lucanis exhales, low and rough, and his fingers dig into her hips as he leans down to press his mouth to her ear. "You’d look perfect like that," he murmurs, his voice like gravel dragged over silk. "So swollen with me you wouldn’t be able to hide it. Everyone would know you are mine, that you carry what is mine."

Summary
He didn’t know what to say or how to make her understand. There were so many things he wanted to tell her, but the words eluded him. He was afraid he had already ruined it by panicking. That she was still here was a miracle.
Finally, she faced him, a rueful smile on her face. “Listen, Lucanis, if you’re not interested, you can just say it. I’ll be disappointed, but I promise I won’t try to kill you.”
Through gritted teeth, he said, “It is not a lack of interest.”From the moment they met at a masquerade ball, Nadia de Riva knew that Lucanis Dellamorte was her true love. Her unceasing affection charmed him and though he fell after she did, he fell harder than he could have possibly imagined. However, since being separated for a year after Lucanis was taken to the Ossuary, they will have to come to terms how they have changed in their time apart and navigate the complications their relationship adds to their mission to take down the gods.
A canon-divergent Veilguard story, about my Crow Rook and her romance with Lucanis, both before and during the game.Series

Summary
It seemed like a fair trade. How hard could a prison break be, compared to taking on a couple of gods.
"So is this Calivan contract one of those 'I have to do it myself' things?" she asked casually.
Electricity crackled around them, close enough the hair on Lucanis's arms and neck lifted. Lightning struck the ground, hitting the guards and Calivan in turn. First one round, then another, and a third. The smell of burnt flesh reached his nose and electricity danced on the puddles of standing water that dotted the floor.
Spite appeared in his mirror form on the other side of her. He leaned forward, head tilted as if studying her. "Smells of lavender and lightning," he purred. "Storm beneath the skin." He leaned closer, as if sniffing her. "I LIKE her."
Lucanis tried to ignore him, telling himself it was probably better the demon liked her than the alternative.

Summary
"Lucanis Dellamorte,” he said with a casual air about him. Like he wasn’t the man who had fucked her senseless on the docks nearly a year ago. His eyes lingered on her for a fraction of a second, just long enough to twist her stomach into knots. But then, his gaze shifted to Neve with a charmingly cool effect.
For a moment, Rook wondered if he truly didn’t recognize her. There wasn’t even a flicker of familiarity in his face, only that guarded and smooth allure that made her bite her lip. She tried to shake off the pang of disappointment, forcing herself to focus on the mission, but damn, it stung. He doesn’t remember. And it’s better that way, she told herself, trying to smother the rush of excitement she had felt upon seeing him.
