Scylla struggled to get her head above the water, watching as the sun-speckled surface appeared and disappeared. Her legs were tired and her body hurt as she fought to get the air back into her lungs. She felt pressure under her arms and before she knew it she was kissing the sand
Raelle dumped Scylla's almost lifeless body on the beach "What the hell do you think you're doing? Trying to get yourself killed?"
Scylla's body contorted as she coughed and splattered the ocean water out of her lungs "Thank you", she gasped, slowly catching her breath back and air had never felt so good
Raelle glared down at the brunette, frustrated beyond words that she had to save some random girl from being fish food "You're way out of your league out here"

Summary
Scylla Ramshorn is the kind of insufferable know it all that grates on Raelle’s Collar’s last nerve; while Raelle is the kind of arrogant jock that makes Scylla wish she were in college already. Sparks fly when the two get paired up for a school project, and they realise there’s more between them than just hatred.
