You look back at your phone screen in disbelief. Your momentary excitement turns into one of panic--'WAIT!! I swear I cancelled this last week!' Your mind starts to race: If you didn't cancel your subscription, your bank account was going to take a hit that you couldn't afford. Still, you swore you had received the confirmation of cancellation. Walking through the busy university campus in Seoul, you hurriedly pull up your email on your phone and dig through the most recent communications. Scrolling past payment reminders and other reminders that this whole month has gone to shit, you click on the Cancellation Notice email to see the familiar JYP logo at the top and read over the contents within.
You take a deep breath, 'Yes, it shows cancelled... I should have stopped receiving messages last week.' Well, I suppose that's one crisis averted! You have a message you shouldn't have. In your panic, you didn't even read the most recent Bubble message. Your thumb hovers over the app, the little red number telling you that one of your favorite idols has in fact sent a message. As you click the notification, your shoulder checks into someone hard, and your phone drops to the ground.

Lee Felix is sunshine in human form and Charlotte is a closed door, but he is annoyingly patient and entirely unbothered by her standoffish demeanor. For Charlotte, learning how to be in a friendship is hard enough, but it's the people Felix brings with him that prove to be the real problem. Or one in particular who is quiet, steady, infuriatingly perceptive, and extremely inconveniently attractive.

I like knowing where I stand.
Contracts have clauses. Schedules have timelines. Problems have solutions.
People, unfortunately, are much harder to manage.
Especially when a work accident leaves me responsible for supporting one of the biggest K-pop groups in the world during the European leg of their tour despite having exactly zero experience doing anything remotely like that.
Still. It's only a few weeks.
Keep the tour running smoothly.
Remain professional.
Don't create unnecessary complications.
Simple.
Or at least it would be if Christopher Bahng would stop making himself comfortable in all my carefully organized plans.
