James, al escuchar la voz de su padre tan joven y extraña, se despegó un poco de su abdomen y lo miró hacía arriba con los ojos llenos de lágrimas y la nariz roja.
—Papá, tengo miedo —sollozó el pequeño, buscando la mirada del alfa—. Había una flor... una flor con dientes en el bosque. Me quería comer.
Al fondo de la sala, un jadeo ahogado llamó la atención de todos. Will se había llevado una mano al cuello, pálido como un fantasma, sintiendo el eco helado del Upside Down que el niño traía pegado a la ropa.

Summary
Peter Parker’s life was amazing.
He was in the top of his class, a brilliant future scientist. He also had his awesome hero abilities he used to fight crime under the alias of Spider-man. And with the support of his best friend, Ned, and his Aunt May, he felt unstoppable. Things were far from perfect, money’s a little tight, and maybe he should sleep a little more, but life was good and Peter was happy.
That's until a drunk driver crashes into Aunt May driving home from a late shift, taking her life. Forcing him to choose between the streets or the nasty foster care system.
But it's fine. Peters got it under control, at least he still has Spider-man. Except he managed to land on none other than SHIELD and therefore the Avenger’s radar, who are now trying to track him down for apparently being a threat.
OKAY, fine things are tough. But at THE VERY LEAST, he has his awesome superpowers to help him over this rough patch. Right? Nope, apparently the stress of everything is causing his abilities to mutate further, leaning him more spider than man, and he’s horrified as the new developments make it increasingly difficult to live a normal life outside of heroism.Peter Parker’s life is so not amazing.
