Summary
A collection of stories set in the alternate universe in which Misuzu Namikaze, an orphan and ward of the Namikaze clan, abruptly obtains the memories of a Naruto fan from Earth. There are some fight scenes, but the story is mostly character-driven and is more inclined to focus on intrigue and politics than action sequences.
There are five planned parts. Two are published and in-progress: Hearts Stand Still, the main meat of the story, and the Sidestories collection, which contains POVs from other characters. Unpublished: the spin-off story Myriad World, which runs concurrent to the main story and is planned to explore the changes Suzu's actions have wrought within ANBU. There are also two sequel one-shots planned for post-HSS: All Things with Shape and The Village Hidden in Peach Blossoms.

Anatomy of a Whale Fall by Pokimoko

Summary
“When dead whales sink down to the sea floor, they become a whole”—Grace waves his hands in a big circle and draws out the word to emphasise his point—“ecosystem for a tonne of bottom dwelling creatures down there.
“To them, it’s the equivalent of an oasis falling from the sky and landing in the middle of a desert. It can feed them for decades, and gosh, the microbes that can be found there. I would love to study a whale fall...if they weren't at the bottom of the ocean. Eugh.” He shudders dramatically. “If I never have to go in a submarine, I will die happy.”
Eva wonders if the whale died happy. Or, at least, happy to know its death would bring life to so many. Surely that was a comfort when faced with the end.

Summary
The laws of entropy insist that natural systems always move to a state of constant disorder, constant change, constant expansion. You would not know any of this if you meet Eva Stratt, because as shocking as she may seem to the average person, she is achingly predictable. It is not her fault if her choices are unforgivable in the eyes of the law, or the UN, or someone’s deadbeat uncle cursing over his phone. They should not have expected anything different.
or, Eva Stratt receives an eviction notice for Ryland Grace four months after the launch of the Hail Mary and moves his things out of his apartment.

In which Dr. Ryland Grace haunts Eva Stratt.

Summary
There is nothing heavier than a guilty man’s conscience. There is nothing bloodier than a murderer’s hands still clutching the knife. There is nothing more pathetic than holding the truth while bathing in lies.
Carl isn’t sure when all three of these statements started to apply to him simultaneously, but he’ll make sure at least one of those doesn’t anymore.
(Carl has a video recording of the day Ryland Grace’s life on earth ended, and he’s not taking it to the grave, even if it takes decades to convince himself of that.)

Summary
Every screen in the room blazed with the same breaking news feed. An alien voice had just asked for him by name on live television.
“Mr. Grace?” little Jamal whispered from the front row, eyes huge behind his glasses. “Is that really you they’re talking about? Like, you you?”
Ryland’s mouth opened, but nothing came out. His heart slammed against his ribs like it wanted to escape and hide under the desk with the class hamster. He was just Mr. Grace. The guy who drew cartoon planets on the board, who stayed late helping kids glue together messy dioramas of the solar system, who once spent an entire lunch period comforting a sobbing girl because her goldfish had “gone to the great fishbowl in the sky.” He graded spelling tests on vocabulary words like photosynthesis and asteroid. Aliens did not know his name. Aliens did not ask for science teachers.
The marker slipped from his fingers and clattered to the floor.
