    “What’s the line, Shoto?” Katsuki asks, pressing. He needs it defined, needs it solid. “Where’s the boundary? Is it kissing deeply? Is it under the clothes? Where do we stop?”

    Another long pause. He can almost hear Shoto thinking, can picture the slight frown, the distant look in his stupid eyes.

    “The line,” Shoto says slowly, “is anything that would damage our working relationship after this ends. Anything that would make it impossible for us to be partners when we walk away. That’s the only boundary that matters.”

    So it's not a physical boundary. It’s an emotional one. Feelings. And that's so much more dangerous.

    OR:
    The mission is simple: fake date convincingly, secure the asset. Nobody mentioned the part where "convincing" means letting Todoroki fucking Shoto suck love bites into his neck. Katsuki will be filing a complaint.

    A true friend comes to rescue him from himself, and in the quiet that follows, Katsuki begins to discover things he was never allowed to want. That care and love can exist together. That being tended to is not a failure.

    And Todoroki wants him—for himself. Safe. Plump. Kept. And for no one else.

    Shouto finally turned, his gaze sweeping over Katsuki on the couch, then to Izuku. A slow, deliberate blink.

    “We give them a show. If they think we’re just three normal people on a getaway, having hardcore sex, they’ll dismiss us. Or at the very least, be too distracted to focus on our profiles.”

    “Let them,” Shouto whispered.

    ​“Is that… Bakugou?” Kirishima muttered, his eyes wide enough to pop out of his skull. A half-eaten skewer dangled from his fingertips. Gasps filled the air, rippling through the Dekusquad and the Bakusquad alike.

    ​Bakugou’s fierce demeanor seemed tempered this time; he appeared soft, his usual scowl hidden behind a thin mask of worry. He was dressed not in his intimidating hero gear, but in a loose, comfortable black henley and soft sweatpants, a stark contrast to the explosive teenager they all remembered.

    ​The little boys, oblivious to their mother’s worries, hit the grass and immediately tried to toddle away. Their little legs were still unsteady, their steps wobbly and chaotic. Bakugou’s heart leapt into his throat—a feeling he had grown accustomed to over the last two years. He was terrified they would trip over a rogue tree root or a stray rock.

    ​Taking a deep breath to steel himself against the staring eyes of his former classmates, Bakugou started walking briskly after the babies.
