Because of this, neither Danny nor Vlad think twice when referring to Ellie as their daughter. It's never been a problem before.

    It does, however, become a problem when Danny and Vlad refer to Ellie as their daughter in front of the Justice League. Danny, who is a thirty year old trans man and Vlad, who is a sixty year old cis man, and Ellie, who is fifteen.
