Reia finds herself lost within an rapidly changing world that she struggles to adapt to after awaking from a trial she never thought she'd survive, while her partner, Mayra, works to navigate the landscape of divine politics to protect her little one from the big scary world she's struggling to make sense of. At the same time, a small group of village guards turned soldiers in training seek to uncover the truths of the desert town that is their first assignment, but quickly find they've bit off more than they can chew.
