Alec is having a hard time trying to get through law school. Between classes and working every chance he can to be able to pay for his schooling, phone, rent, and everything else in-between, he's exhausted and reaches an impasse. After a conversation with his sister, he throws caution to the wind and creates a sugar baby account just to see what's there and promises to delete it the next day.
Turns out maybe there is a sugar daddy on there who may need him as much as he does. Magnus Bane. A wealthy and influential man who has no business paying for company.
