Summary
In a world where Bilbo Baggins destroyed the One Ring in a wave of dragon fire, where he is forced to rely on ancient abilities of his folk long thought gone, Bilbo – with the help of his people – kills Smaug the Golden...
And gets declared Outcast from his gold-mad Company and King. But those old abilities of his people have far more consequences than even they know, and as they explore this strange new situation they have found themselves in, they find that the world as they know it has changed as well, and things far larger than themselves have been moved by the smallest folk on Arda's far shores. It will take faith, forgiveness, and love to find their way through it all, but Bilbo, so afraid of falling now, will have to fall again and again to save the ones he loves yet again.
