The woman joined him in front of the cage, reading from a clipboard hanging on the front. “Picked up about a year ago during a raid. They decided to bring it back instead of kill it thinking the more human appearance might be useful. Mid-level in power but intelligent. They’ve put it through some training and it seemed to do well enough.” She paused, humming as she read further. “Got a mouth on it though. Seems to be one of the only downsides.”

Summary
If she squints, Lux can see a hint of red appear on Jinx’ cheeks. And oh if that doesn’t give her an idea that might result in Jinx actually doing some work. “Wait a minute. Jinx, are you blushing? From a little praise? That’s adorable.” It comes as a relieve when Jinx’ blush deepens, her plan doesn’t actually work if that didn’t affect Jinx.
“I am not blushing.” Jinx says, though the red on her cheeks says otherwise.
“You know what? If you’re really good for me today, I might even praise you again. Doesn’t that sound nice?” Lux knows she has only doubled down a few moments ago, but she’s tripling down now, and if this doesn’t work, she can forget Jinx doing anything at all for this project. “And all you have to is be good for the next hour or so, that shouldn’t be too difficult for you right?” Lux desperately needs this to work. Jinx actually participating will cut her workload in half, and if Lux has to stoop to borderline flirting, then so be it.

Following the events of Arcane's final act, Jinx and Isha bailed out of the Twin Cities as quickly as they could. Stowing away on an airship, they had no destination in mind, only hoping to get out from Zaun and Piltover.
The two weren't aware, but their airship was headed for Demacia, where they were soon to happen upon a strange mage called Lux.
