Summary
It was tradition, they said. A lesson. All noble sons were sent to brothels. Alpha daughters too. Several weeks after Rhaenyra's fifteenth nameday, the King decides to uphold tradition, against her wishes, and true to fashion, managed to carry it out in the most horrific way he possibly could.
The castle saw Rhaenyra and her uncle return at dawn, the girl was barely able to stand, her eyes hallow, and her tunic stained with blood, the yard was filled with knights, men, and Alphas a plenty, but only Rhaenys Targaryen had the nerve to drive her fist into Daemon's face and gather Rhaenyra into her arms.
Gods help the man who must need tell the Queen, for when she found out, all knew... she would be out for blood.

Sue Sinclair was washing dishes when she heard the front door open.
She waited, but all she heard was the sound of the hall bathroom clicking shut. She wiped off her hands and beelined for the source of the noise. She leaned against the door and pressed her ear to it, instantly making out the distinct cries of a little girl inside. It didn’t sound like Erica. She reached for the doorknob and felt something wet.
