“Who the hell are you?!” Mike almost screeched, floundering to stand properly again. “And how did you get into my house? And WHY DO YOU LOOK LIKE ME?!”
Finn held his hands up, the movement making the others pause, and he tried to offer a reassuring and non-threatening smile. “I wish I could explain how I got here, but I can’t. All I know was that one second I was laying in bed, in my time, and then suddenly there was a bright light and now I’m here. But I can tell you who I am, and assure you that I mean you no harm. In fact…” Finn paused, “I might even be able to help you.”
When Finn finds himself magically in Hawkins and is met with the real-life party, he realizes he has the perfect opportunity to fix how the show ended.
One by one, he helps everyone with what they need the most: Will to feel more confident and loved; Mike to figure out his true feelings and pull his head out of his ass; El to realize her independence; and Dustin to process his grief over Eddie. And maybe he also tells the gang what he knows so they can hopefully save the world and kick Vecna's ass before a single child is even taken from Hawkins.

Finn Michael Wolfhard and Noah Cameron Schnapp have been together for several years, men, after Schnapp's graduating from the college, decided to move out together and buy a house in New York, leaving Wolfhard's house in Vancouver as a summer cottage. Having entered the new dwelling, both decided to engage in repairs, along the way also sorting out their personal affairs; one calm, spring evening, while painting the walls in the bedroom, Cameron accidentally brought up the topic of children (he previously mentioned in lines for the magazine that he would like to have a large family) - a conversation between him and Michael led to the idea of starting a family together. The men, having read the possibilities, having saved up money and realizing that they can arrange and prepare everything, decided: to adopt a child.

May came with new unexpected news, on Con in Liverpool, the words were spoken from lips of Noah Schnapp: signing a contract for an apartment in New York, next to his former colleagues and part-time best friends.
And it would seem, well, there is nothing so supernatural in this, however, surprisingly, after the words, the next day, after a month of disappearance, Finn Wolfhard is there! Noticed in New York, without publicity of the reasons for his presence. What is he doing there?
