Summary
Family does not have to be blood, and Natsu knows this. He loves Fairy Tail, but at end of the day his Blood needs help. Zeref never got a second chance, unlike Natsu, and Natsu will make damn sure he gets his chance to truly live. Not this forever hell between being alive and dead. So while he wants to horde everyone he loves into somewhere safe, he has to make a decision between both families.
Story will jump timelines.
(Finally writing this story after hyper-fixating on this topic since before the manga even outed Zeref as Natsu's brother. Give thanks to all the recent Natsu & Zeref fics that have been coming out because it gave motivation for me to finally write this).
