Summary
Grace is already not doing well thanks to the rationing he and Simon have had to undergo to make sure they make it to Erid alive, and Rocky accidentally falling out of his xenonite tubes and getting exposed to their atmosphere again is not helping.
Thankfully Simon is there.
After saving Rocky's life, Simon also steps up to take care of not only the ship while Rocky is recovering, but Grace himself. Only, Grace is not used to anyone taking care of him, and Simon's gentle hands and steadfast care are doing very strange things to his heart rate.

“Grace leaking,” Rocky said, scrambling forward and chirping in distress. “Grace bad leaking!” Grace paused as he felt his nose drip. “It’s just snot, Rocky,” Grace said, going to grab a tissue.
“No, no, no, no! Bad leak! Bad leak!” Rocky exclaimed, his whistling tones wavering as he followed Grace.

Grace gets a nosebleed and doesn't realize it. The last time Rocky saw blood come from Grace's head, Grace almost died. Rocky panics.

While working on solving the issue of Grace slowly dying of starvation, malnutrition, and a host of other issues, the Eridians discover the human internet (largely Wikipedia) and fall down a rabbit hole of trying to figure out everything they can about the needs of their squishy alien savior. While most of their focus is on the food issue, another link catches their (metaphorical) eyes.
"Touch starvation, also known as touch deprivation or skin hunger, is the physiological need by humans and other species for physical contact with their own species or other living beings."
No one is happy about this.

Summary
Rocky and Grace have been alone for so long, that it was only natural that they became (perhaps unhealthily) attached to the only other person they could interact with for several years. Separating them, even for very necessary reasons, isn't fun for either of them.
When Rocky gifts Grace a stuffed animal to ease the loneliness, Grace quickly becomes almost just as attached. Rocky, on the other hand, starts to wish that Grace would (and could) hold him like that.-----

He wants to make the maximum number of people possible love him."
Or, in which Tim comes up with a plan to slowly exclude himself from the Batfamily because Bruce is too nice to do it himself. Along the way, he has to compromise his lifelong mission — Mission Maximumly — because Bruce just won't let him go.
