On the verge of peace and a united Cybertron Optimus falls ill with a misterious sickness, he has neglected his frame for too long and it has come to cost him greatly, from all people the only bot who offers to know a cure is his biggest enemy and he has big conditions, he will have to learn to navigate the world without neglecting his frame, Megatron has his own plans for his every action but underneth he stars falling apart jus as much.

or, Winning the gladiator heart.
Optimus has seen the way Megatron gets passed around the patrons of the arena like a bargaining chip, he is aware of the arena, aware that he cannot do anythings to change it, he even goes ocasionally to see his friend figth. It is frowned upon for an enforcerer to do as such, but Optimus doesn't care, he likes Megatron.
He feels deeply saddened upon seing how the mech has never been properly loved, he wants Megatron to know how it feels like, he really wants it, and if he is the mech to show him, so be it, he wouldn't mind, he really wouldn't.

Prima and Megatronus are recently cojunxed, nobot knows this, yet they always sneak in between their duties to see each other, this time they end up in a sticky situation given Prima pushes them both into a small closet were they can barely move just to make out but Megatronus is overcharged after a long training session and he cant keep his servos off his Prime.

Context: Megatronus has been meaning to tell Prima something, but he was sent away on a recognition mission two weeks ago (Cybertron time) finally returning he is too tired to even feed himself, depending on his closest subordinates to do so.
He still wants to tell Prima his secret considering they are, secretly, about to become sparkmates.
Prima is... horny, he just is.
But he is desperate to drink in Megatronus's attention, so he stays in his orbit.Finally revealing his secret Megatronus fears rejection, for Prima to be grossed out, instead Prima loves him just the same and when they finally set to interface just for Prima to discover that Megatronus thought all Cybertron was like his sub-species. (They are not)
Prima feels to old for Megatronus but he isn't about to give up on this.

Grimlock has never believed in sparkbonds, they're not real, not Amica not Endurae, they're just for show another way for a mech to bare their spark and expose themselves.
But his spark, this memories he lost tell a different story.

Summary
Megatron experiences a dream he cannot afford to have, vivid, destabilizing, and far too revealing. Regardless, he steps into a peacetime he is catastrophically unprepared for. The Conclave expects a warlord. The Autobots expect a threat. Optimus expects nothing at all, and somehow that is worse.
As field bleed, phantom sensation, and political pressure tighten around them both, Megatron finds himself unraveling in ways he cannot name. Luckily (or disastrously) Optimus Prime is right there with him, ready to keep him from (or rush him toward) falling apart.
