"What am I supposed to do with you?" Dion whispered as he stroked the Phoenix's—Joshua's—head. The little Eikon hummed in contentment, blue eyes blinking slowly open. There was human intelligence there, a familiar gaze, and though Dion knew he should have observed some kind of protocol... they were well beyond that now, weren't they?
While Dion was well-versed in the art of war and the sciences, thanks in large part due to Harpocrates, this?
This was definitely out of his scope of knowledge.
(Or: Joshua touches something he shouldn't and now he's stuck in the body of a baby phoenix. Dion is tasked with figuring out how to reverse it before Clive decides another Dominant is about to lose his hands.)
