The kitchen air lingered with a watermelon aroma as Takuto finished up the last few preparations he needed for his and Zenkichi’s date in the upcoming summer afternoon. He had prepared sandwiches, a few bowls of different flavored fries, and fruit smoothies. A casual date.
Zenkichi meanwhile had to do something quick at work. Takuto was fine waiting for him, but as the hours passed, the other man’s absence worried him. When Zenkichi’s phone went straight to voicemail, Takuto decided to investigate.
