Weiss Schnee, taken from her broken team and sequestered away after the fall of Beacon, is gifted a mirror by her father; a subtle jab at her scarred visage. Yet what her father does not know is that within that very mirror lurks the sealed form of one Jaune D’Arc, uncle of Salem D’Arc; Dread King of the Lords of Light.
Or, well, that’s what he calls himself, anyways.

Summary
Team RWBY have returned; back from the dead. A cause for celebration for some, and dread for Cinder Fall. Yet while trying to finish them off for good this time, she is dueled to a standstill amongst the desert sands of Vacuo by Jaune Arc. Yet where death should find one, it finds neither.
It should end there. Just a chance encounter.
It doesn’t.
Somehow, Jaune Arc and Cinder Fall continue to meet, and somehow, something begins to grow between them. Something that neither can hope to understand.

Summary
The Blacksmith, in all fairness, did tell them exactly what was about to happen. The problem, really, is that when five heretofore unknown figures suddenly blip into existence a good decade and a half into the past, a lot of very powerful people notice.
And many of them are less than pleased.
Or: Those five from the Ever After, Jaune Arc, Blake Belladonna, Yang Xiao-Long, Weiss Schnee, and Ruby Rose, do not end up in Vacuo. Instead, they end up scattered across Remnant, 12 years in the past.

The one who’d followed her had been her enigmatic friend; Renne Bright.
And yet, after admonishing her, Renne gives her a proposition.
“I would offer to take Mistress’ place for you.”
Agnès had thought that awkwardness, that trepidation, would be the most difficult thing she’d face that day. Until, of course, Renne utters five words. Five little words that, to Agnès, mean nothing. But to her, they clearly mean much, much worse.

Maybe it was Musse, simpering up and insinuating to anyone that would listen that her professor could beat anyone here – which may’ve been true before Arios, Rufus, and Rixia had arrived, but certainly wasn’t true now – or maybe it was the fact that Estelle Bright wasn’t the most resistant to said taunts.
She was, in fact, seemingly rather easy for Musse to manipulate into sparring with Rean.
Okay, so apparently, Rean actually did know who got the idea for he and Estelle to spar going.
