Summary
A Mother’s Day story in honor of Rover and Aemeath. Their story made me cry.
This is a detailed story from the POV of Rover when Aemeath gets absorbed by Aleph. I tired to make it as detailed and sad as possible, while also trying to understand what rover might feel. It’s definitely one of my shorter stories, but that doesn’t make it any less impactful

I can’t really write a summary for this, lol. I wrote this for my creative writing English NEA, to which it got 56/60. I really hope my English teacher doesn’t see this. If you are Pearson edexcel examiner: yes I am the author please don’t give me a U but I can’t wait until August to post
Basically I wrote pure vanilla as the sheep character and shadow milk and the wolf character. From both POVs, this is a short one shot which is really detailed.

“I need you to sit this one out, Powder.”
Vi’s voice echoed across the room, Mylo and Clagger watching ominously behind her. Powder glanced around, then down at her feet and back up again.
“What?” Her small voice echoed around, the air dense as Vi’s words kept spinning inside of her head. Leaving me? Why does she want to leave me? Will she come back? Powders thoughts kept spinning in her head, ravaging her composure, and breaking her down slowly.
“You're not coming”
“I’m not afraid” Powder shot back, looking up at her sister, begging that she will change her mind, anything to change her mind. Please don’t leave me… please don’t leave me here… take me with you…
“It’s too dangerous” Vi said, determined to keep her sister out of trouble.
“But families stick together. You said it yourself.” Powder begged, determination in her voice. She will let me be with them, she must. She cannot go back on her word… can she?
“I know what I said…”
“I want to fight. I can help” She interrupted. Yes.. that’s right. I can help. I can help them, I know I can.

Summary
Of all the stories he’s read, Phainon would’ve never chosen to reincarnate into this one. It’s a messy world, not because of complex political schemes or endless, cruel wars, but because the lore is all over the place. Even the wiki has partially given up on certain plot points– and that certainly says something.
Oh, and also because there is a character who shares his name, and it’s a character deeply loathed by the fanbase, Phainon included.
Unfortunately, whoever plopped him down in this story hasn’t heard his misgivings, and so, here he is: the fake hero of Amphoreus, Phainon of Aedes Elysiae.
