"Was that—?" Zoey's eyebrows raised before her eyes narrowed, a smirk on her face. "Oh, Rumi. You liked that, didn't you?"

"N-no, I didn't…" Rumi scrambled backwards clumsily, all the grace and poise of a hunter—of their leader seemingly lost in her embarrassment. "I don't know why I—it's not, I didn't meant to," she stammered.

"Didn't mean to what, baby?" Zoey cooed, her fingers cool against Rumi's heated cheek. "Didn't mean to be good for me?"

A soft, airy whine escaped from Rumi's throat.

    or:

Mira and Zoey teach Rumi that she doesn't have to offer anything to be loved. She doesn't have to do anything, be anything, or be perfect. All she has to do is her best; all she has to do is be good.

    Summary

Canon Divergent AU where Mira and Zoey followed Rumi after her voice failed while rehearsing for the Golden Live Show. They find her on the rooftop with her patterns exposed.

Now, Rumi's patterns won't stop spreading, and she can't deny the connection she feels to the honmoon. She also can't deny how weak it seems to be getting. Gwi-ma probably knows they were about to seal the honmoon for good and has something planned. Something big that has every cell in Rumi's body vibrating.

If that wasn't enough, there's also this stupid fluttering in her stomach every time Zoey and Mira get close to her, which has been happening more and more since they saw her patterns.

    Summary

The client hadn’t really requested anything at all; their emails had been almost overly polite, if not jarringly formal, and had selected only the most vanilla options on the questionnaire she provided. Certainly a far cry from the standard practices of her usual clientele, but this one had paid upfront and picked this expensive hotel, and Mira’s fees are dear enough on their own that she had been coloured intrigued.

Mira takes a left down the hallway after leaving the elevator and finds herself at the door to the room. She doesn’t steel herself—doesn’t need to. She can handle anything. Has handled most things. Mira swipes the keycard and lets herself in.

The person sitting on the bed is probably the last thing she expects.

In which Mira is a professional, Rumi is socially inept, and Zoey is also there. Let's hope nobody catches feelings.

They were never supposed to notice each other.

    One is untouchable.
    One refuses to care.
One makes it impossible not to feel.

It starts with a forced partnership.
    It turns into stolen glances.
It becomes something none of them are prepared for.

    Three girls.
    Too much reputation.
    Not enough honesty.
And feelings that refuse to stay quiet.

    Summary

Somewhere along the way she’d stopped making flowers and started engaging in psychological warfare with craft supplies.

Halfway through twisting another stem into place, a knock sounded at her door.

“Rumi?” Zoey’s voice drifted through the wood, warm and slightly pouty in that way that always made Rumi weak. “Can I come in? I wanna cuddle. I barely saw you all day.”

    Panic hit immediately.

    Think.

    Think fast.

    “I—uh—I’m busy!” she blurted back.

    There was a pause.

Unfortunately, panic had already seized control of her brain, and before common sense could intervene, her mouth supplied possibly the worst excuse in human history.

“I’m naked and looking at my body for anatomical reference,” she said in one horrified rush. “I can’t right now, sorry!”

    Silence.

Rumi stared blankly at the floor for one long second before slowly lowering her head into her hands.

    Why would you say that.

    or

Rumi attempts to celebrate her first Valentine’s Day and nearly implodes.
