It was ironic really,
Paris’ most famous hero wasn’t there for its most eventful night in years.
Cheers rang out around Paris, joyous cries celebrating the long-awaited downfall of Hawkmoth and praising their heroes for their bravery.
Oblivious to the events that had just unfolded, swarms of citizens paraded down the streets and met at the Eiffel Tower, brimming with joy and relief. Still, the sound of an ambulance pierced through the cheers.
Just a few miles away, three heroes stumbled onto a balcony, two with tears streaming down their faces and a heavy feeling in their hearts, and one consumed with shock and numbness.

Summary
With high school ending, Adrien's world is put on hold when his father insists he immediately enter into an arrangement to marry Marinette. Summary
This story focuses on princess Marinette. Her kingdom is the supreme power of the land. She is on good term with all the kingdoms, but one. The Rossi family have been on bad terms with the Dupain-Cheng's for year. Marinette has made many attempts to reconcile the relationship between the two families, but sour interactions between princess Lila and princess Marinette have made such attempts impossible. In a last ditch attempt at reconciliation, and a possible treaty between the lands, the Dupain-Cheng's throw a lavish ball and invite all the kingdoms. Including a very distant kingdom of great power and great esteem, The Agreste kingdom.

Hawkmoth is running her ragged as Ladybug, and after three years Lila has finally managed to make good on her promise to ruin her life and leave her all alone. Desperate and exhausted, Marinette finally decides to take drastic measures; something’s gotta give, and that something can’t be Ladybug. She decides to take her civilian self out of the equation for a while, but a terrible sleep-deprived decision forces her to put things into motion way before she’s ready. Now she has to try and stick to her guns, despite the devastation she’s left in her wake…which for some reason seems to have hit Adrien and Chat Noir the hardest.
