Fadel’s expression darkened, his patience wearing thin. “You’re really asking me this now? After everything? After he nearly died? After Bison had to stitch him up with his bare hands while he screamed in pain?” His voice rose, low but dangerous. “And you knew what he meant to me.”
Kant took an involuntary step back.
“I—”
“No.”
Fadel was standing before Kant could react.

Sand finally came to terms with the painful truth—Ray had chosen Mew over him. In an attempt to move on, he turned to music for comfort, exploring artists he hadn’t really listened to before. That’s when he stumbled upon Ariana Grande’s haunting track, Twilight Zone.
Something about the song resonated deeply. So much so, he decided to record a cover.
To his surprise, the cover went viral. And of course, Ray saw it—secretly. He listened to it on repeat, unable to shake the ache it stirred in him. It hit him harder than he expected: he missed Sand. Terribly. It was only now, too late, that he realized the depth of his feelings.
He wanted to go back. To fix things. To choose Sand this time.
But how do you reach out to someone who’s already let you go?
Especially when you’re still standing beside the person you once thought you wanted—Mew.
