Summary
"My old man, Arlan… he used to say that the worst demons get bigger in the dark. You're in the dark, Aerion. I can see it. You don't have to pay me. You don't have to owe me anything. I can just… be there. When you eat. Or when you feel like you can't."
Dunk held out a hand, palm up. Rough, calloused, honest.
"I can just sit with you. I’m good at sitting. I’m big enough to block the door if you try to run to the bathroom."
In which a Flea Bottom scholarship kid is drawn like a (mam)moth to the Brightflame. And becomes the honorary manny-driver-sugar baby of the Targfam.

Summary
Dunk chuckles softly, leans back to prop himself on the hotel bed pillows, then in a low voice says, “I’m sorry my Prince, but if you did not want me to wake you, you shouldn’t have given me this.”
“Oh, finally found my good luck charm did you? Took you long enough, I was hoping you would find it on the bus and sneak away to the bathroom.”

Summary
Six years in exile with Duncan should have broken him.
Instead, it teaches Aerion exactly how far he’s willing to go to take back what is his.
Married into House Baratheon and forced into obedience, he plays his part: omega, consort, heir-bearer.
What no one notices is that none of this is theirs. Not the heirs. Not the future of Storm's End.
And certainly not his freedom with Duncan.

Summary
The jeweled dagger dug deep into Duncan’s neck, pressed just enough to draw more blood, warm and steady beneath Aerion’s hand. His mouth was smeared with it, red staining his lips and chin, and his pupils were blown wide, dark and unsteady, giving him something near feral.
“A Flea Bottom thug, walking into Ashford with a stupid plan,” Aerion said, his voice low, almost amused, though there was nothing light in it, “what were you thinking?”
The blade shifted slightly, but not enough to break skin further.
“Going to take down a dragon with his own dagger?” He went on, the corner of his mouth curling despite the blood there, something sharp and mocking settling into his expression.
He leaned in just enough for Duncan to feel his breath against his skin. “Did you forget Duncan? A dragon ought never lose.”
Duncan Tall, a hunter forged by loss and sharpened by vengeance, steps into the perilous vampire world at Ashford University, and finds himself face to face with Aerion Targaryen, a vampire prince as lethal as he is irresistible. In a realm where blood is a currency, Duncan will discover that some fires never die. They only wait, patient and terrible, to consume.
