Summary
Reki yanks the window open, the croon of the cicadas not as bad as it could be, before turning back to see Langa has pulled his shirt off. He discards it in a pile with Reki’s, just standing there next to the bed and watching him with hooded eyes.
Reki tries not to let his eyes wander, but it's impossible. There’s something magnetic about Langa, the same thing that’s been drawing him in since that first day outside Dope Sketch.
A tug which pulls them together despite everything else.

Langa is a waterbender from the northern water tribe. Father recently passed away -> was a teacher who taught him how to bend.
Mother is a non bender fire nation and traditional doctor. Move back to her home island. Langa in with bending training with Master Oka.Reki is a firebender in training with Master Oka. Likes to goof off more than practice so is kind of a shit fire bender right now. He has strength in the spiritual side of things but always plays it down.
Freed young Komodo Rhino from an auction cart and the two became best friends. His sisters helped name her Firelily, or Lily for short.

Summary
After skating their secret S race, Reki has a startling realization about how he sees Langa.

Summary
There were probably many different ways Reki could’ve gone about this. For starters, not making poutine at 8am. Is poutine even a breakfast meal? It can’t possibly be edible reheated. Fries are rarely good once they’ve existed long enough, and gravy is similar. At this point, the fries being soggy really doesn’t matter much. He had thought that maybe they would expand in the peanut oil, but they did not.
Because of this, they were practically glorified hashbrowns. Tiny, shriveled up little fried pieces of potato. This was, as could be expected, quite a threat to the objective at hand. The fries in the photo looked just crispy enough to still grind under teeth into a paste-like substance, the way that potato things should. Reki's attempt looked more like pieces of dead grass. Maybe slightly larger.

Ryuusei was silent for a moment before slowly shaking his head. “No,” he admitted quietly. “I’m hurt.”
“And it’s probably gonna take me a while to forgive you for hiding something this big from me.”
Guilt twisted painfully inside Sae’s chest. “I know,” he whispered. “I’m sorry.”
Ryuusei sighed quietly before reaching over and pulling Sae’s hand into his own. “But I’m still here,” he murmured. “And I’m still gonna take care of you through all of this.”
Sae finally reveals he's secretly had leukemia since he was sixteen. (basically what would happen if Sae lived instead of dying after Before the Morning Came)
