Summary
In the not too distant future, Bonnet Corp attempts to slow the rapid incline of global temperatures but their botched experiment with the atmosphere sends Earth into an eternal winter. Twenty years later, pirates roam the barren wastelands of ice and snow while the other few survivors huddle in walled communities. Stede Bonnet, son of the CEO responsible for the geoengineering disaster, thinks he can solve climate change. Edward Teach is the infamous ice pirate Blackbeard, bored with the grind and never-ending winter. Ed joins Stede on his quest for “the Kraken,” which Stede believes holds the key to reversing climate change.
Their bond grows as they face marauders, fierce storms, and thrilling adventures together. Will their improbable friendship become something more? Or will Stede’s obsession with his quest prevent him from seeing what’s right in front of him—the man who loves him?

Summary
Ed moved to this small, nowhere bit of beach town to get away from his life and get back in touch with himself— whoever the fuck that is, anyways— so the absolute very last thing he ever expects to see in his local-turned-personal-favorite hole in the wall pub is his ex husband.
Or for said ex husband to come up to him to say hi, talk, and catch up.
Fuck.

Summary
Copenhagen, 2014
Australia is trying to convince the rest of the world to let them enter Europe’s greatest song contest.
Australia’s not physically in Europe, but they’re there in spirit. They’re also there in person just this one time, singing as a guest. It’s a momentous occasion, one that’s inspired the country to send two of their most familiar faces for the commentary team: legendary singers Edward Teach and Stede Bonnet, who met through watching Eurovision, but haven’t seen each other since a scandal in the 90s.
What could possibly go wrong, other than… everything?
Or maybe, in falling apart, it’ll all fall back together…
