Miami reacted on instinct as she swiftly deactivated his quirk. As the secondary aspect to her quirk flared to life, her carefully styled hair rose quickly and hovered above her head, likely messing up the artful style her foster father created that morning. The hero was loud even without his quirk activated.
She could hear the man in front of her heart fluttering widely in his chest, but he didn’t say anything, his hands clutching his chest as if he had seen a ghost. Not an uncommon reaction to the cancellation aspect of her quirk. At least he wasn’t trying to attack her, she thought wryly.
She deactivated her quirk and her hair fell back down"

Summary

Try as he might to blast through those problems, there are some snags even his explosions cannot destroy.
As they both struggle to overcome their problems and support their surrogate brothers, Izuku and Katsuki somehow find themselves leading their class into the world of heroes- and desperately trying to protect a little girl called Eri, the first person they saved as a team.

When Petunia Dursley refused to take Harry in she forfeited his birthright protection, so Dumbledore took the baby to the safest place he knew: Hogwarts.
The applicable staff (mostly just… not Snape) took Harry in on a rotating schedule as he grew from baby to toddler to child. They traded extra credit for babysitting among the older students, and Harry grew up knowing a few dozen different laps that were safe and warm to nap in.
This was a Harry who grew up among books, among old transient walls and learned professors. They gave Binns night duty sometimes, and let him talk young Harry to sleep. This was a Harry whose world changed, on principle, daily. The stairs moved. The walls became doors. You had to keep your eyes open–you had to pay attention. So he did.
He grew up in a school. Knowledge was power, but knowledge was also joy. This was his sanctuary. There was magic in his world from birth.

Midoriya Izuku has always wanted to be a Hero, a person who can and will save people with a brilliant smile on their face. But, all because he lacked the great evolutionary milestone that was a Quirk, nobody believed him.
All he had to aid him was his wits, his smile, and his tears. But they did nothing to aid him in the furthering of his goals. It is not the power that a good hero makes. Izuku knew this.
And yet, when his dreams were crushed by he who Izuku revered above all others, it was power that Izuku sought after from the very depths of his heart.
His yearning grew so great that Izuku threw away the last of the chains that stopped him from seeking power. Chains that he had wrapped around himself since before he could even remember.
Chains that he had locked with his Quirk, the sword that separates Devil from Man, the Yamato. A Quirk that he had not known even existed.
A Quirk that he used to split himself into two.
Regardless of consequence.
Regardless of what it would cost him.
Regardless that it might have very well costed his dream.Of course, his Quirk did stranger things to him other than the metaphysically splitting him in half...

Scales under his arms were almost ready to burst, to cover him in silvery shine of metal, to protect him from anything this world wishes to throw against him. His fingernails were elongating, morphing into claws, his face remade into a snout – a maw with teeth, and soon – fire. His quirk worked to rid him of exhaustion in his muscles – restoring them, reinvigorating him. He was getting faster, stronger, taller, tougher. More terrifying, less of a young boy and more of a deformed beast out of legends – a dragon, ryu.
Lung.
Even at a young age, Izuku was nothing if not good at violence and inflicting pain. With the world unraveling itself around him, it might as well be the best skill to be proficient at.

There were at least two things Ron could say for certain that he'd never have expected when he first stepped onto the Hogwarts Express- the first being meeting Harry Potter, and the second being, horrifically, being sorted into SLYTHERIN. Ron is begging for someone to fire the Sorting Hat, right now.
Except Ron doesn't do as poorly as he'd suspected he would in this house of his. He is by no means the picture of a Slytherin dark-magic-dabbling blood supremacist, but that doesn't mean he fails to find friends in Slytherin, not at all. Not only is he mates with the Boy-Who-Lived, but his friend group also comprises of the first muggleborn in Slytherin since about half a century, and Blaise Zabini, son of the infamous Contessa Zabini and equally as suave as her.
Little did Ron know, though, that he was in for one hell of a first year at Hogwarts, whether he was Slytherin or not.
