Summary
When Shizusumi told him that he was almost completely sure he overheard Mafuyu and Yuki discussing plans to reveal their already very obvious relationship to them, one thought pushed its way to the forefront of his mind: to lie his ass off.
Alternatively: Mafuyu and Yuki are dating—that’s something everyone knows.
Except they don’t know that everyone knows, so a friend takes it upon himself to preserve their ignorance.

“Hinata, you’ve had a headache for two weeks and haven’t even left the flat in the past three days.”
Which, for someone like Hinata, who spends every waking second doing his best to be a human version of a ping-pong ball, is practically unheard of. Whether it’s for exercise or for errands, he usually spends several hours a day zipping around town. Couch potato just isn’t in his DNA.
Unless it’s time for feeding.
Which he’s been ignoring. For too long. Again.

Summary
But Kageyama’s a cool dork, and Shouyou sort of wants to tell him this in a burst of emotion, but the words get stuck. “I want two by the way,” he says instead.
“Why do you get two?”
“Because I,” Shouyou says dramatically, “am your favourite.”
Then he rocks up onto his tippy toes so that he can reach Kageyama’s face, his body moving without consent from his brain. He plants a smooch – quick and playful – on Kageyama’s cheek, only just remembering to add a loud “mwah!” to make sure Kageyama knows that he’s only teasing.

Summary
“Okay,” Hinata agrees slowly, a grin spreading across his face as a small smile blossoms on Kageyama’s. “But I get to drive.”
“Why do you get to drive?”
“Do you want to end up in a hedge?”
“No. So why are you driving?”
This time, Hinata does kick him in the shin. “Look, I’m better listening to the instructions than trying to read them out, okay? I’m driving.”
