For once, Lily didn‘t feel herself become warm with anger. A laugh bubbled out of her that eventually transformed into a scream, animalistic and gutteral, her throat feeling raw by the time she was done. She had let Him trick her.

Summary
It's been nearly a few months since they both appeared in this new world. They have no idea on what happened but both former sprites are now on a very different Earth with very different but mostly familiar bodies, for two things Hal now has a body of his own somewhat and Davesprite is still part bird.
This new world is very different and strange to both, its set in the future and one important detail that shocked both was that in this world: Dave Strider, little brother to famous twins David 'D' Strider and Dereck 'Bro' Strider and a twin himself to Dirk Strider, died at the age of 12, 4 years ago. Now how does this fare for Davesprite now dubbed 'Qrow Davis' who looks almost exactly like the deceased Strider with him being the alternate version of said deceased Strider?
It was bad enough with monsters and enemies from the game popping up every once and a while, not to mention their unwilling and accidental involvement with the dark underworld. They've done their best avoiding anything that might cause them problems but one single mistake from Qrow has the ex-players and involvements from the game chasing after him. Especially the family of Striders who are convinced that he is their Dave.

Summary
The story he has been told his whole life is this: as an infant, he was captured by Delugionists who aimed to raise him into a monster. The Psychonauts discovered the plot and rescued him before the Delugionists could hide him away, but they could never find his family, so the agent who saved him gave him one with herself. His family grew from there, and soon the Motherlobe was not just a headquarters, but a home to a very gifted boy. The only catch is that he cannot leave, for if the Delugionists knew he had left the one place they cannot reach him, he would be in grave danger.
He has stayed for ten years, living as normal of a life as he can. Uncovering the truth was mostly an accident, but now that he knows, he cannot rest until he sets the record straight. To do so means finding the family with whom it all began, and if he cannot trust the people who raised him on lies to show him the way, then he will have to find it without them.
Running away to the circus will be more difficult than he imagined. The journey reveals new abilities, unfinished business, and who the boy with the soul of an ocean might have become if not Razputin Aquato.
