Summary
When he saw the dress adorned with starlight, the world seemed to end right then and there. There should be a multitude of moments to recall, all of them he spent with the love of his life. Their disastrous first meeting, their arguments, or the countless intimate confessions hidden in concealment and miracles. There was too much he should have thought of.
He only thought about one normal night, hands intertwined and time stretching out before them forever and ever.
“I miss the stars.”
He turned to see her look up, leaning back onto his shoulder. The moment seemed perfect, peace and quiet broken by the occasional crackling of fire.
He remembered equally clearly what he said instinctively in response, giving her a small smile.
“Me too.”

There was too much weight behind his words. It was not wisdom handed out easily, but something personal, something almost too blasphemous to hear.

Killer Sans, strictly speaking, is not a Sans.
Not in the traditional sense. He’s more a personality that Sans formed to function while he processed (hid from) the accumulated mental degradation of his past. Killer’s past.
He’s not lazy, he doesn’t have Papyrus as a brother, he never liked ketchup, he doesn’t respond to the name Sans Serif.
Point is, Killer is the one abnormality inside Nightmare’s castle: the only one who isn’t even a Sans to begin with.
That’s why he is the best authority on them being a bunch of idiots.
OR
As Killer observes the mess that is Nightmare’s castle, he struggles with his other self — the Sans hidden deep within his SOUL.

Undertale was the first.
Sans Serif may not be a saint with a heart of gold, but there’s an extra room in his shiny new house, and there’s nothing stopping him from lending a well-used umbrella to someone else in need.
Especially since it wasn’t raining here anymore.
