“Nothing, it’s just that it’s 12 o’clock, don’t you have a shift today?” Bea’s eyes widen as she sits up and looks at the clock for confirmation. Rude. Ava knows how to read an analog clock, thank you very much. Bea sits up quickly but brings a hand to her head with a wince.
“Hey, are you ok? You seem kinda out of it and you’re really hot.”
“Excuse me?” Beatrice chokes out.
