Summary
Batman had been wary about the quiet that had fallen over Gotham. Not to say there weren't still crimes occurring but it was all minor stuff that the other members of the family could take care of. In the past three months the only rogue to really do any damage was Bane who robbed a bank to lure Batman. The fight ended quickly spanning only a single night before he was locked up.
Batman couldn’t help but feel that everything was about to go up in flames, peace tended to give him paranoia.
It was odd for him too because Joker had made zero attempts to leave Arkham, it had been months since he was locked up. Usually he left due to boredom and missing the Bat. So either he was plotting something and waiting idle or there was something interesting going on at Arkham. It was likely the former, but Batman had been increasing his surveillance of Arkham.
So when Batman got a hit on a couple of odd deaths surrounding retired Arkham employees he didn’t hesitate to start investigating. 13 years was a long time to wait to get revenge.

A dangerous garden full of vipers.
The relative tranquility of his garden is disrupted when three members and two children die without explanation and with no visible magical damage to his expert eyes. Only pain, hallucinations, and nerve and muscle damage were recorded.
